The role of psychology at CDC is to provide:

  • Comprehensive cognitive/developmental, emotional and behavioural assessments of children and adolescents aged 4 to 19 years.  Depending on the referral question, test materials may include standardized tests, structured interviews, self-report questionnaires, parent and teacher report, and projective testing.
  • Consult at multidisciplinary family and school conferences to share results of psychological assessments and interventions with team members, parents and school staff.
  • Clinical supervision to Master and Doctoral students.

Psychology is currently only represented on the Preschool Team, School Age Team and Acquired Brain Injury Team.
